For many children and teenagers, mathematics is associated with stress, uncertainty, and so-called
math anxiety. This anxiety is often not caused by a lack of ability, but rather by negative learning
experiences, pressure in the classroom, or a lack of understanding of fundamental concepts.
At edventure Studios, we aim to change exactly that by transforming how math is learned.
edventure Studios explores math anxiety
As part of Unite!, edventure Studios worked with international partners to investigate how math anxiety affects students at the beginning of their studies. The survey, with more than 3,500 participants, shows that many young people enter higher education with insecurities, knowledge gaps, and negative experiences in mathematics. This is exactly where edventure Studios comes in: we aim to make mathematics more understandable, accessible, and motivating.

Learning without fear – through interactive and playful methods
Our approach is based on the belief that learning becomes most effective when it is engaging,
understandable, and active. That is why we focus on playful math tutoring, combining traditional
learning with interactive, digital, and game-based elements.
Instead of passive instruction, students experience mathematics as something they actively explore. Through short games, interactive challenges, and immediate feedback, abstract concepts become
tangible and easier to grasp.
Learning through repetition
We know that regular practice plays an important role in long-term learning. Through short daily
exercises, playful challenges, and repeated interaction with mathematical concepts, students
strengthen their understanding step by step in a natural and engaging way.
This consistent repetition not only makes learning more enjoyable and less overwhelming, but also
helps transfer important concepts into long-term memory. As a result, students can recall what they have learned more easily and develop greater confidence in dealing with mathematics over time.
Motivation through small wins
Learning motivation grows when students experience progress and achievement. That is why our
approach focuses on small, achievable learning goals combined with interactive challenges that
encourage active participation.
These positive learning experiences build self-confidence and help shift the way students perceive
mathematics.
Innovative and student-centered learning
By combining modern learning methods with interactive tools and a carefully designed game app, we create an engaging and supportive learning environment. Our approach allows students to learn
at their own pace, strengthen their understanding step by step, and actively participate in the
learning process.
Our goal is to make mathematics more accessible, motivating, and enjoyable for students of all skill levels. We believe that everyone can learn math when the right approach is found.
