Delete app account and data

This page explains how users can request the deletion of their account and/or the deletion of specific data associated with Konomondo_prototype.
Option A: Delete account and associated data in the app (recommended)
Open the Konomondo_prototype app
Go to Settings → Account
Tap on “Delete account”
Confirm the deletion
Note: After confirmation, access to certain content/features may no longer be possible.
Option B: Request deletion via email (e.g., after uninstallation)
If you no longer have the app installed or cannot perform the deletion within the app, you can request the deletion here:
Email: office@konomondo.at (Subject: “Deletion Request Konomondo_prototype”)
For identification purposes, please provide at least one of the following details (if available):
the email address used in the app (if applicable)
your first and last name as provided in the app
login method (e.g., Apple/Google/email address)
What you can request
Please choose one of the following options in your request:
Delete account (incl. associated personal data)
Delete only specific data (account remains active), e.g.:
Learning progress / Game state
Messages / Content (if applicable)
Device/Push tokens (if applicable)
Which data will be deleted
Depending on the selected option, we typically delete:
Account data: Account identifier, Auth connections (e.g., Apple/Google), Profile attributes (e.g., Display name)
App data: Learning progress/Game state, saved settings, cloud saves
Technical mapping: Device identifiers within our system, Push tokens (if used)
Which data may be retained (and why)
We may retain certain data longer for legal, security-related, or technical reasons, e.g.:
Security and abuse prevention: Server logs, Audit events (Retention: 30 days)
Legal records/Billing: Transaction/Billing data, if applicable (Retention: 7 years)
Backups: Data remnants in encrypted backups until rotation (Retention: up to 365 days)
If data is retained, it will be minimized and processed strictly purpose-bound.
Effects of deletion
After Account Deletion, content/claims tied to the account may be unrecoverable.
After Partial Data Deletion, it is possible that progress/personalization will be reset.
Processing & Verification
To protect your data, we may request identity verification (e.g., confirmation via the registered email or via an in-app signal). Incomplete information may delay processing.
